I cannot count the number of times I have watched ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory‘ since I first discovered it in my childhood. Sure, I like the newer, Johnny Depp, version too but my heart will always remember the original first.

My favourite character in this movie is (of course) Veruca Salt. Yes. She’s a spoilt little brat. Yes. She’s completely horrible but… she was one stylish girl!

And that is where my obsession for little dresses with contrasting white collars and cuffs may have come from. Can you blame me? They’re completely adorable and as a matter of fact… “I want one know”! ;)
