Sparkly things, like diamonds, are often called a girl’s best friend. While I’m waiting to add that ‘special’ sparkle to my collection (a little wink to my man!)  I do love to add the occasional touch of glam to my wardrobe. Here are a few sparkles I’ve been loving lately…

The Ben Toms for Vogue Russia January 2012 shoot drew my eye with it’s retro inspired looks and there was just something about this bedazzled outfit that I love. Perhaps it was the glasses… which are awesome!

These glitter mouse flats by Marc Jacobs aren’t really a lately but more a constant love.

I spied a lady wearing a pair while walking around Hong Kong the other day and I was a picture of jealousy! I can’t quite afford a pair myself and found some, while not as mousey just as gorgeous, vintage alternatives. Or… if you’re feeling crafty, Elsie has a neat little guide on how to make your own glitter shoes on her blog ‘A Beautiful Mess‘.

And last but not the least bit sparkly… how beautiful are the glittery wigs pictured backstage at Commes De Garcons Fall 2011 (via Wmagazine.com)?!
