There are certain pieces of vintage clothing that really make me stop and go weak at the knees. These three stunners do just that and they have just been added to the store (images are linked to their store listing)!
I love Anne Fogarty’s dress silhouettes and this beautiful and bright dress is a perfect example of 1950s ‘fit and flare’. What, I think, makes this dress extra special is the perfect velvet and satin trimmed peter pan collar. Oh… and did I mention it has pockets?
What is not to adore about a Lilli Ann suit jacket? This one from 1959 is one of the best I’ve seen. Featuring asymmetric pleating in three different shades of brown, this jacket is a wearable and perennial classic.
Claire McCardell designed comfortable, functional and beautiful clothing for American women and this 1940s dress is all three of those things. Classic and collectable this pretty pink dress is quite the jaw-dropper with its plunging shelf bust line and voluminous skirt. Oh… and did I mention it has pockets?
What do you think? Do these three vintage pieces get your heart racing like they do mine?

*swoon*
Gorgeous! That jacket is especially amazing
Whoa, lady! Amazing finds. The jacket is mind-blowing, and I love the velvet detail on the collar of the Anne Fogarty.
Argh!! Stop selling such beautiful clothes, my paypal account can’t take it.. *sob* ;D
Oh dear! These really are something, aren’t they? Goodness me – each one a work of art unto itself!!!
All three are wonderful pieces, and all are so representative of the designers!
